Eco Research at the 2nd IMaSS Enviro Day 2025 in Bologna

On April 15, 2025, the second edition of the IMaSS Enviro Day – Mass Spectrometry for the Environment took place at the CNR headquarters in Bologna, a day fully dedicated to the applications of mass spectrometry in environmental studies.

The event featured oral presentations on innovative techniques for environmental analysis, contributions from industry with the participation of leading companies such as Agilent, Sciex, and SRA, and numerous networking opportunities among researchers, institutions, and businesses.

Eco Research contributed with the opening Plenary Lecture, delivered by Dr. Werner Tirler, entitled “Mass spectrometry in environmental analysis: from dioxins to micro and nanoplastics”. The presentation highlighted the evolution and potential of this technology, which plays an increasingly central role in addressing challenges related to pollution, health, and environmental protection.
