Educational Collaborations for “Tomorrow’s Technicians”

The 2023/24 school year also concluded with a fruitful collaboration between Eco Research and the schools of Bolzano, aimed at training the “technicians of tomorrow”.

Participation in the event “ReCYCLE 2024 – Reuse on the move”

On 14th April 2024, Eco Research took part in “ReCYCLE – Reuse on the move“, organised by the Municipality of Bolzano, from 10.30 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Bolzano’s Piazza Tribunale. The square became the stage for various moments dedicated to proposals, initiatives and opportunities related to the theme of the event, i.e. re-use and a more careful and conscious use of everything that surrounds us. For the occasion, the city centre of Bolzano was closed to traffic, with a ban on all motor vehicles. The 40th edition of VIVICITTA’, the famous city run promoted by the UISP, which takes place simultaneously in dozens of Italian cities, also started from the Piazza Tribunale…

Dr. Werner Tirler awarded as Italian knowledge leader

The third edition of the Italian Knowledge Leaders took place on 5 December 2023: the event that enhances Italian excellence in the academic, medical, cultural and scientific fields, recognising them as valuable references for the intellectual growth of the country and the international convention market. The event took place in Rome in the Sala della Protomoteca of the Campidoglio and was organised by Convention Bureau Italia together with Enit – Agenzia Nazionale del Turismo, with the support of the Ministry of Tourism. Eco-Research did a successful application to host the 46th International Dioxin Symposium DIOXIN2026 in Riva del Garda- Italy

The letter delivered to Director Werner Tirler on September 14, 2023, filled the entire staff and management with joy and pride: the International Advisory Board (IAB) of the International Symposia on Halogenated Persistent Organic Pollutants announced that Eco Research’s application to host the forty-sixth edition of the International Dioxin Symposium – Dioxin2026 had been accepted.”

Research program 2023-2025

The program agreement between the Autonomous Province of Bozen/Bolzano and Eco Research for the 2023/25 period was approved on 13 June 2023 by the Provincial Government. At the same time, the related funding agreement was signed, pursuant to the Provincial Research and Innovation Law (LP 14/2006).
