On May 5 the final event of the “Capacity Building 2014 – 2021” funding program of the Autonomous Province of Bozen – Bolzano was held at the NOI Techpark.
Between 2014 and 2021, the Autonomous Province of Bozen – Bolzano invested 33 million euros for the construction of 16 new laboratories, distributed between the NOI Techpark and the headquarters of the various research institutions. In these laboratories, highly specialized personnel conduct research activities in the fields of Alpine, Environmental, and Food Technologies, Energy Production and Casa Clima.
Eco Research presented the results obtained through the Capacity Building 2014 – 2021 funding, within the Environmental Technologies package, namely the construction of the laboratory for the isotope analysis of heavy elements through mass spectrometry, present at its headquarters.
In the afternoon, the director of the Eco Research, together with representatives of other research institutes and South Tyrolean companies, participated in the round table which discussed “Infrastructures for research and innovation: opportunities and challenges for a sustainable future”. The comparison has given rise to an interesting dialogue between the world of research and private companies with important considerations on the value of technology transfer between these realities.
